Sorry for not updating......

So Since I have not updated any info on Ms. Charlee, I thought that in honor of her 11month birthday in 2 days I would post some of my favorite pics from Easter and this Spring!
Charlee is crawling at 90 miles an hour now and is walking around furniture but not alone yet! She has a new tooth so that makes 7 and one that is almost through (which would explain the sleepless nights). Let's see what else, she is big in the imitating language stage right now and cries almost everytime mommy leaves the room (which is breaking my heart)
Ok enough with the chit chat - here are some pics of my beautiful baby love!

Love, Love, Love........

In honor of Valentines Day a few days late I thought I would post some of my favorite things about our little 8 & 1/2 month old blessing......
1. How she giggles at almost everything I do....I love being the funny one for a change!
2. The way she whispers, "Hey, Da.." when Marcus comes home (melts my heart every time).
3. How she is starting to crawl on all 4s and ditch her precious army crawl.
4. The way she wiggles her nose when she talks and smiles!
5. How much she LOVES Sheep! When she seems him or he enters a room she is completely captivated by his every move and will literally chase him around the room!
6. The way she SNUGGLES with us! She loves to get in the bed with us and make sure that one arm is touching Marcus and one arm or leg is touching me! SO SWEET!

It was hard for me to narrow it down, so I have to stop myself at the TOP 6 things..Here are some pics to enjoy for the week!

Snow Snow Snow.....

Well we woke up this morning to a couple more inches of snow! I can't believe it! I don't ever remember it snowing this much in one Winter! Too bad Charlee is too young to enjoy it! Here are some pics from the snow last weekend!

Here is a little Charlee update for you! Since I have become a SAHM she has decided that she does not ever want to be away from me! I have thoroughly enjoyed the past few weeks with her and I am soooo happy that I get to spend more time with her. She is pulling up on everything now and is starting to move to a faster crawl by getting up off of her belly! Now when she is in her crib she will pull up to standing and just talk away......dada, baba, da, da da......She seems so proud of herself!

Another funny note is that she has learned what No means. Since she is a moving baby, EVERYTHING goes in her mouth! I will tell her NO and sometimes she will scream to let me know she is mad about the scolding and then other times she will stop what she is doing long enough to look at me again to try again and stick the object (paper, shoe, magazine, box) in her mouth. I think we have officially hit the "I'm going to test you mom to see what I can get away with" stage. It is kinda funny but I try not to laugh because I don't want to encourage it!

This past week she went for her third round of shots! YIKES! She did really well and the doctor was very impressed with our modified vaccination schedule. I am glad we chose to space things out a bit, even though she goes more often I know that this is better for her little body! She weighs 22.10 and is 28 inches tall! I can't believe how big she is! :)
A little food note....I am LOVING making her own baby food! We have now moved into the meat category and she LOVES chicken! Also, one of her favorite foods right now is CHEESE, the child would let me grate an entire pack of Colby or Monterrey jack and still act hungry! I am going to try this week experimenting with some recipes I found on www.wholesomebabyfood.com. They have Turkey teething sticks and cheese sticks that are recommended for this age. I think the reason why I enjoy making the food so much is because I know exactly what she is eating and that it is healthy for her!
Well everyone enjoy their cold Valentine's day! I know we will! It's a family weekend! YAH!

5 months.....

Where does the time go, seriously it still feels like she was just born yesterday. However, she is rolling, laughing, cooing and sitting up now! I can't believe how big she is and how much she changes each day. I love watching her new achievements each day and I am so sad to leave her each morning for work. I have nothing to worry about when I am gone because between my mom, Marcus' mom, momma Lisa and Aunt Haley she is spoiled rotten! I couldn't ask for a better situation since I have to go to work.
With Halloween right around the corner and fall seeming to be in full force now, we headed to the pumpkin patch and took some pics of our sweet girl. I mean really sweet girl!!

We have started eating cereal - rice and oatmeal on a regular basis. She really didn't like the rice cereal as much as the oatmeal. So tonight we decided to try bananas and she hated them!! We will have to post the video because she shivered and gagged like they were horrible! :) I think we will try them a couple more times before we X them out!

Growing up....

So this little stinker is getting sooooo big and her mommy is getting old!! I turned 27 this week on the 14th and for some reason this birthday is killing me! We had many birthday celebrations, as we Baptized Charlee this weekend and my grandparents came in from Charleston. It was amazing to see how many Great-Grandparents Charlee has and what a loving family we have. The day was awesome but Charlee was definitely out of her routine and spit up all over the alter. Once our pastor took her she smiled and looked at everyone in the congregation. It was a day we will never forget!
Her personality was certainly showing that day and is growing soo quickly!
She is starting to have so many different facial expressions. She will be shy and smile and bury her head in my chest when someone speaks to her or will get excited and squeal when she sees her daddy! We have been doing tons of "tummy time" lately and she seems like she wants to crawl, I am excited but at the same time I am nervous about her being mobile. We are going to have to really work at child-proofing our house!

Time is flying by..........

Charlee is getting so big and I wanted to share a couple pics with you guys. She will be Christened this weekend and I can't wait! She is almost four months and changing everyday. She sleeps from 8:30-6:30 or 7 every night and most of the time won't wake up to eat. However, some nights she is up at 3 or 4 for about 10 minutes. I will have to say she is an AWESOME sleeper but I am not! I am constantly waking up to make sure she is breathing and I wake up each time she moves in her co-sleeper. That's right she is still in our room! But she is in a co-sleeper next to the bed. Hopefully, we will be brave enough to move her to her crib by the end of the month, but we will see. Each day I see her learn new things and I am amazed at how quickly she is growing. Her favorite thing to do right now is "talk" She will grunt and sing and try to mimic every sound that we make. She is beginning to teethe so she has tons of drool and LOVES to blow bubbles with her spit! Well time for bed......Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy!

Lazy Pool Days......

Today Charlee and I went to the pool with one of my good friends Melissa and her little boy Camden. He is soo cute and loves his mommy with all his heart! Charlee slept in her stroller for most of the time but I couldn't help wondering what next summer is going to be like. Watching the little kids run around and Camden jumping in the water, made me realize that our precious little one will not be so "little" forever! I feel like I need to take each moment in with her that I can because my maternity leave is going to be over soon and these lazy pool days will be long behind us. When Charlee was awake today, she seemed in awe of Camden, she would smile and coo at him so sweetly. I think children have a special connection and she instantly took to him.
Well time to feed her again.........here is another pic for you to enjoy!

Sweet Dreams.........

Well it is hard to believe but Charlee has slept through the night 3 times now!!
Last night she slept from 12-7! :) She is starting to really get a morning routine, she seems to love to sleep in after she eats at 7 till 9 or 10 and then she will stay awake until her afternoon nap around 2! I am quite amazed at how she is growing, she seems to change everyday. We are starting to see her mimic our sounds, for example she loves to play this game with Marcus. He will make a noise and then she will Coo in response. She is sooo vocal! I love it. It also makes me so happy to see the bond between the two of them. It is soo sweet the way she will look at him and smile and you can see that Marcus is totally wrapped around her finger.

I also have discovered that I worry almost every minute of the day that she is healthy and ok. I guess that this is the life of a mother. Charlee has really bad reflux and is spitting up quite often so the doctor has put her on Zantac. ALthough I really hate giving her medicine I am hoping that this will help and relieve her discomfort. We may end up trying formula, even though I wanted to continue breast feeding her for a year. I am hoping that the Zantac will help in the meantime and she will grow out of this soon! It really worries me. However, I am grateful that she is healthy and growing fast!
On that note, I have some news that I am not so happy to write about...... Some of our friends, the McRae's, just found out that their five year old daughter Kate has a malignant brain tumor. They are working out a treatment plan now but this news is devastating. They have set up a website www.prayforkate.com that keeps all of the updates posted and I have been truly amazed at the amount of intercession that the Lord is doing for this little girl and family. Literally thousands of people are praying for them and speaking to our savior. Just the amount of prayer occuring is a miracle and I am sure a relief for Aaron and Holly. With this news, being a mother myself now, my heart breaks for them and I can't imagine ever going through something so devastating. Each day I look at Charlee and say a prayer for her health. I have faith though that she is a healthy little girl and that God is working a miracle for Kate and soon we can say that she is healthy again also!

6 weeks old!

Ok so I haven't been keeping everyone updated on our life with the little one, but things have been really busy as you can imagine!
So this week Charlee is 6 weeks old, time has truly flown by and she is getting sooo big. At her 5 week visit she weighed 11 pounds and 4 ounces. So I know she is growing like a weed.
Here are my top five favorite things about Charlee right now (Sooo hard to narrow it to 5):
1. How she smiles when she sees me or Marcus and even laughs out loud some.
2. Her sweet little yawns
3. The way she stretches like a little thumbilina
4. How she loves to snuggle
5. The way she looks @ our eyes and will follow us across the room!

Here are a couple of my favorite pics right now:
